About
Art Banner Crawl is a daily event from October 6th until October 15th with the exception of Mondays as the McMillan Arts Centre is closed. Participants can pick up the map depicting the locations of all 8 Art Banners that will be located in the Parksville Downtown Business District by dropping into the M.A.C. between 11 am and 2 pm. The crawl will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes of easy strolling, or less if riding bicycles. Once participants have located each of the 8 banners as shown on their map, they can return to the McMillan Arts Centre to receive a Canvas Tote Bag featuring the banner artworks for participating.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the Art Banners while cruising around among the many unique shops and cafes in downtown Parksville. This collection of Art Banners have been created by Vancouver Island based Artists to beautify the downtown area. Curated by Lead Artist & Project Manager, Pattiann Withapea.
