The Blacksmith and Carriage Shop, owned and operated by the Cannington & Area Historical Society, preserves an important link to one of the earliest and most vital businesses in history. It is one of the oldest blacksmith shops in Ontario located in its original urban location.
The Beaver River Museum in located in charming Beaverton and consists of an 1850’s log house, a turn of the century brick house, and a mid 19th century stone jail, furnished with local artifacts.
The Sunderland Historical Society is a group of dedicated volunteers devoted to stimulating public interest in the history of the people and places in and around the village of Sunderland. Their work involves the Sunderland Museum's maintenance including the collection, classification, preservation and presentation of information and artifacts that reflect our local history.
