À propos

Re-live the golden age of transit at the Steveston Tram! As part of Culture Days on Saturday, October 3, enjoy a rare opportunity to board a vintage 1957 bus, courtesy of the Transit Museum Society from 12pm - 4pm.

Step inside and imagine commuting through this region decades ago. Then head next door to the Steveston Tram building to climb aboard historic Tram Car 1220 and experience an even earlier era of travel.

Together, these two historic vehicles tell the story of how transit changed from steel rails to rubber tires.

After exploring the bus and tram, enjoy a variety of activities in and around the Tram building. Plus, the first 50 visitors will receive a free vintage copy of The Buzzer - a local transit newsletter - from January 1990, commemorating 100 years of public transit in British Columbia.
