Everyone has their own unique life story which is documented through the records created and collected during one’s lifetime, including correspondence, family videos, photographs, diaries, scrapbooks, and birth certificates.
In this digital recording, Archivist Val Billesberger will provide information on how to identify what to keep; proper handling, management and storage tips; and ways to ensure your family legacy is passed on to future generations.

The Mission Community Archives provides a broad range of services designed to ensure the ongoing collection, preservation and accessibility of the community’s documentary heritage (i.e., documents, photographs, maps, digital objects, sound and audio-visual recordings, etc.).
