Music will include characters from popular operas like the Marriage of Figaro, Turandot, Don Giovanni and Die Fledermaus. Enhancing that will by stories of the opera plots with reference to how composers wrote for these women on the stage long before it was socially acceptable to for women to act in real life.

Sunday 29th, 2pm

This concert will tie in historical events with music. A range of opera selections and songs, both classical and folk, will tell stories of the French Revolution, the Massacre of Glencoe, Joan of Arc, and the American Revolution.
