Join us for a performance featuring 1930s Jazz with a participatory twist! The musicians are University of Toronto Faculty of Music students in the Jazz Performance program. Jazz derived from Gospel and Blues traditions that will have you singing along! There may also be clapping involved!

Bata Shoe Museum

The Bata Shoe Museum is the legacy of a determined and passionate collector with a keen eye for footwear. Sonja Bata searched the globe for unusual shoes for decades, resulting in a spectacularly diverse collection found nowhere else on earth.

The shoebox-shaped building by world renowned architect Raymond Moriyama has chnging exhibitions offering something new to explaore each time.

"1930s Jazz at the Museum" complements the newest exhibition "WANT: Desire, Design and Depression Era Footwear".
