Germinated from a single word abir (colours), the song Khola Akasey showcases the eternal struggle of dreams and reality. The vivid portrayal of the vision in Krishnakali's words resonates with the poem by Souvik, with team Sathee: The Musical Voyagers bringing the song to life with their music.As you watch this tug of war unfold, you will find the soundscape beset with diverse musical influences from different composers.

“Khoai” - a watershed of emotions narrates the conflicts a poet is facing with in trying times. A part of his mind is desperately awaiting the passionate love filled moments with his beloved Rani. But all his happiness turns into despair when he looks around to find the darkness looming everywhere due to a catastrophe. How long can he turn a blind eye to the deep sorrow that has engulfed the entire world? Will he and his Rani be able to find a path to brace the calamity and ease the pain for others?

This song is created by Souvik at a time when the entire world is struggling to survive a severe pandemic. The song lyrics questions the true purpose of being human in the face of a disaster affecting the mankind.

We are a musical band from Greater Toronto Area presenting variety of music from different genres. Our musical endeavour involves experimentation of rediscovering popular songs in "Sathee way". In doing this our vision is to present familiar melodies and musical pieces in our own unique interpretation. Our songs bridge musical genres separated by generations, geographical barriers, languages and cultures.
