À propos

Join author Helen Mourre for a reading and discussion.

Helen Mourre was born and raised and lives in the Rosetown area of Saskatchewan. She writes primarily short fiction, but has dabbled in poetry, non-fiction, young adult and children's writing. Her most recent publication is To Everything A Season, a collection of short fiction about the turning points in people's lives. Her other two titles are Landlocked and What's Come Over Her, both published by Thistledown Press. They were nominated for Saskatchewan Book Awards. Helen has taught creative writing at community colleges, is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, and a past president of the Sage Hill Writing Experience board. She believes that writing is an act of empathy whereby she totally enters into the lives of her characters.
