À propos
Based on the initiative of attaching orange ribbons to trees, this year the Knitters and Quilters group are making weather-proof orange feathers to attach to trees or place around the property of St. John’s Church in Elora. The orange feather installation is intended to be a memorial to the children who did not return home from residential schools and an invitation for the public to reflect and learn about steps towards reconciliation in their own lives.
Anyone is welcome to make an orange feather on Wednesdays, 10-12 noon at the Parish Centre (yellow house) in the month of September. Materials are provided. 168 Geddes Street, Elora ON N0B 1S0
