Experience a full day of art, culture, and community as Downtown Brampton comes alive with interactive tours, workshops, and creative celebrations leading into a vibrant evening afterparty.

Morning | Art in the Heart Walking Tour

Kick off the day with Art in the Heart: A Downtown Brampton Public Art Walking Tour. This free guided stroll introduces you to murals, sculptures, and installations throughout the downtown core. Learn the stories behind the artworks, the artists who created them, and how public art transforms our shared spaces into cultural landmarks.

Late Morning to Afternoon | Peel Art Gallery, Museum + Archives (PAMA)

On-the-Spot Tours: Explore Senda: The Inuit Goddess of the Sea in the atrium and join a long look at Stuart Clifford Shaw: En Plein Air with Curatorial Assistant Rachel Leaton.

Studio 1 Activity – Flower City Greenhouses: Create your own miniature greenhouse inspired by Brampton’s rich floriculture history and its proud title as the “Flower City of Canada.”

Afternoon | Hands-On Community Art

Community Mural Collage (Led by Favour Daramola): Design your own 8x8 art tile inspired by Brampton’s landmarks, diversity, and vibrancy. Together, participants will assemble a large-scale mural collage—a visual celebration of unity and creativity.

Art in the Park with Aditi Sangwan (Gage Park): Drop in for a relaxed, collaborative art session under the open sky. Bring your own supplies or create with materials from the community table, celebrating culture and Brampton’s natural beauty.

Family Fun with HOPE Endoors

At the “I CAN” Art Station, create artwork that celebrates your strengths and creativity. Families can also enjoy the LEGO Build Booth, playful skill-based challenge games, and a lively Grooves & Games Music Zone—perfect for kids and adults alike.

Evening | Gallery 35 Community Canvas & Exhibition

While judges review entries for the Live Art Competition, join the public in contributing to a collaborative Community Canvas—a shared masterpiece that reflects Brampton’s diverse spirit. The full Community Canvases Collection will be on display at Gallery 35 from Sept. 19–27, with opening night celebrations from 5:00–10:30 PM.

Night | Culture Days Afterparty – City Hall Conservatory

End the day with a high-energy afterparty featuring a Taste of Brampton with catered tapas, an interactive photobooth, live caricature art, and unforgettable performances by local talent including Flower City Bhangra. Celebrate culture, creativity, and community spirit late into the evening!
