À propos

Bulles highlights the creative force of our city’s talents, and invites the public to let go in a multitude of universes, guided by the thoughts of Katia Café-Fébrissy, Julie Lassonde, Martine Côté, Ama Ouattara, Saïda Ouchaou-Ozarowski, Lise Beaudry, Carolina Reis, Jacques Descoteaux, Samuel Choisy, Madi Piller, and Jean-Christophe Foolchand. In this exhibition, these 11 artists share their vision in order to invite the viewer to navigate through their singular universe that features mini interviews directed by Louis-Philippe Gallant.

By reappropriating this question-and-answer exercise, the Torontonian artists offer us a personal vision of their work and the role of art in society. We learn that in artist-run spaces, like Le Labo on 401 Richmond St. in Toronto, is where the magic of collaboration and the birth of ideas take place.

Bulles invites you to a rich and diverse artistic experience between art work presentations (kinetic art, photography, water colour, textile art, experimental videos, and documentaries) and offbeat, modern, and intimate interviews that are free of norms. A superb showcase of Torontonian art for the fall of 2023.
