À propos
The Catchbasin Art Project unveil event will occur on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 10am to 1pm during the Tiny Forest Community Tree Planting Event hosted by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority at Eastbourne Park.
Catchbasin Art Unveil
This year, six talented artists transformed twelve catchbasins into stunning murals. The artwork aims to raise awareness about the connection from our streets to the environment and inspire us all to help prevention pollution. 🌧️🎨
The project is a unique initiative that effectively communicates environmental awareness through art in our community. By collaborating with local artists, the City of Brampton is fostering community engagement, promoting pollution prevention, and supporting cultural expression while promoting environmental protection. The City of Brampton will have a booth near the planting location on the west end of the park to showcase the artists’ work, share information and resources on pollution prevention, and share themed prizes and kids' activities.
