À propos
Mackin House Museum, like most homes, is filled with ordinary objects. Some are old, some are new, but most have a hidden history that is not evident from a casual glance. Celebrate Culture Days with us and book a time slot to see our new exhibit Deconstructed: The Hidden History of Everyday Objects in a safe and socially distanced atmosphere. Tours of Fraser Mills Train Station and the 1970's CP Rail Caboose are also available.
Visitors will also get a homemade treat to enjoy at home.
Free. Registration is required.
Time slots are 30 minutes long.

Coquitlam Heritage
Coquitlam Heritage Society’s mission is to preserve, honour & promote the heritage of Coquitlam through outreach in the form of events, workshops and the operation of Mackin House Museum.
Mackin House is an Edwardian home built in 1909 as a company home for the second in command at the Fraser Mills Lumber Company. It is staged with period appropriate furniture and artifacts to give visitors a sense of what life in Coquitlam would have been like for someone living in the upper middle class. We have rotating yearly exhibits that highlight aspects of Coquitlam’s rich history and culture.
