It’s 1926 and Lucy Maud Montgomery just arrived in Halton Hills! The historically dressed "Maud" will be walking throughout the downtown Georgetown corridor during Culture Days. If you see her, say hi and ask her for her impressions of her new home!” Are you a "kindred spirit"? Lucy Maud Montgomery lived in Norval (Halton Hills), Ontario between 1926-1935. She will be fashionably dressed, so if you do recognize her, please do say hello.

The Lucy Maud Montgomery Historical Society is a formed heritage foundation with plans to create a Literary Centre and museum in Norval. The foundation also hosts events such as the 25th Anniversary Montgomery Christmas (December 2019), Anne of Green Gables Day (3rd Saturday in June), and the Not-So-Empty Bowls fundraiser with Credit Valley Artisans.”
