À propos

A MUSICAL FRIENDSHIP

London Symphonia and conductor Matthias Maute explored the musical friendship between Haydn and Mozart at a concert on February 29, 2020.

Joseph Haydn was awestruck by the genius and unbridled energy of his young protégé. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart deeply respected the boundless creativity of his elder mentor. They even liked to play together! The deep musical bond they formed, influenced the symphonies and string quartets on this program.

We hope you will enjoy this concert!
