Join L!ft!D and friends for a hip-hop cultural experience that is educational and highlights rapping, music and dance. This ‘edutainment’, is a hybrid performance style comprised of both education and entertainment. Get ready for an engaging performance!

Dawid “L!ft!D” Kumidaj is a Hip Hop Emcee who immigrated from Poland to Canada with his family at the young age of 5 years old. Landing fresh into the bustling streets of Toronto, LiftiD was immersed into a whole new world of sights, sounds and experiences. Growing up in and around the Toronto area, would shape his love and respect for all people of varying cultures, and backgrounds. During his teenage years he was introduced to Hip Hop music and Kulture and immediately fell in love. Ever since then LiftiD has been enthralled on his journey of self-creation, expression, and community building through the elements of Hip Hop Kulture. While maintaining his own cultural roots, LiftiD has managed to build a strong following within his own local Polish community along with his crew, KonSorcjuM and their Wielka Familia collective. Most recently L!ft!D has become active working on various projects with the Temple of Hip Hop; The Hip Hop preservation Ministry, Archive, School, and Society, founded by its leader “The Teacha KRS-One” and looks forward to continue bringing his unique approach to positively creating community wherever he goes. LiftiD is currently working on his forthcoming album "Ripple In The River"
