The Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame selects and recognizes outstanding Manitoba athletes, coaches, officials, builders, and teams. We also collect, present and display memorabilia related to the history of baseball in Manitoba.

Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame

This non-profit organization, which was initiated in January 1996, was incorporated and received charitable status in 1997. Our first induction ceremony was held at Brandon University June 6, 1997, with 20 individuals and one team recognized.

Our Goals Include

1) To select and recognize those players, builders, umpires, media and teams who have made a substantial impact/contribution to baseball in Manitoba.

2) To collect, preserve and display memorabilia related to the history of baseball in Manitoba.

3) To publish periodic newsletters.

4) To take any and all steps and actions necessary to recognize, honour and pay tribute to those players, teams and persons selected for recognition as having made an outstanding contribution to the development of the sport of baseball in Manitoba.

5) To continue to encourage and foster the development of all aspects of the sport of baseball by permanently recording the achievements and history of the sport

6) To arrange an induction ceremony

7) To provide educational use of the collection by the public through exhibition, research and educational public programming in order to increase the public awareness of the sport of Baseball in Manitoba Annual and life memberships are available.
