Join Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art for the exhibition opening of Luanda-Kinshasa by Stan Douglas from 7-11pm September 28, 2019. Luanda-Kinshasa is a six hour film installation by the renowned Vancouver-based artist, Stan Douglas, set in a reconstruction of the legendary Columbia 30th Street Studio, which was based in Midtown Manhattan and the site to some of the most celebrated musical recordings of the twentieth century such as Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited, Glenn Gould’s Goldberg Variations, and numerous Miles Davis albums.
