This workshop is for sweethearts of all ages! Invite your partner to a dance date in the park and learn some basic partner moves that you can apply to any song! Enjoy learning together on a gorgeous dance floor mural and in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Yes, it will help you with your two left feet, and more! No prior dance experience necessary.

Dance Together Festival
The Dance Together Festival offers free open-air dance workshops and events that celebrate positive and accessible dance experiences. The festival is co-produced by dance artists Katya Kuznetsova and Kate Nankervis and is part of Toronto’s Arts in the Parks programming.
This year, the festival transformed Mimico Square in Amos Waites Park into a vibrant open- air dance space with free workshops (Vernacular Jazz, Afro Cuban, Soca, Flamenco, Salsa, and West African Dance) and an interactive dance floor mural, designed with physical distancing in mind. The space is open for everyone to explore through October 2021.
