À propos
Come take a walk through beautiful Inglewood to discover the village's rich history and charm! In 1843, on the nearby Credit River, Thomas Corbett started building a dam and mill to provide waterpower, an operation that attracted many workers and their families to Cheltenham. This eventually led to the development of the area with foundational shops and houses you'll stop by on your tour. Today, many of the village’s original buildings still stand and some continue to operate as commercial enterprises. The homes in the modern subdivision on North and South Riverdale Drive intentionally reflect a Carpenter’s Gothic style, helping to perpetuate the distinctive charm of historic Inglewood. The tour offers a deeper understanding of history and culture you're sure to enjoy!
