ANGELIQUOI? will be performing Tinder Loving Empire. Tinder Loving Empire is a show by ANGELIQUOI? which focuses on themes of relationships, self-forgiveness, sexual consent, sexuality, and the journey of self-love. Through spoken word poetry, clown, fringe acting, comedy and rap, ANGELIQUOI? and her friends the Jellybeens, will move through an intimate and vulnerable exploration of healing and recollection.

The show will begin at 2:30. Guests eager to come earlier can join the Jellybeens in clown warm up games.

The Jellybeens include: ANGELIQUOI?, Ebonempress, Angela McIlroy-Wagar, JD, Kor Kase, Courtney Adams, moses cc, Elision and Sam Raven.

"Angelica "Angeliquoi?" Poversky is a spoken word poet, an interdisciplinary artist, organizer and a general loud mouth clown. Her work frequently is situated between art, activism and delight. She's shared the stage with clowns, comedians, politicians, scientists and rabbis. She's the coach and organizer of UBC slam poetry team and is part of the clown-poetry nationally touring trio, The Tiny Tricycle Poets. Her cine-poem "Entropy of Forgiveness" has been screened in festivals in Germany, Ireland and California and was chosen as a winner for the Inspire Wellness Challenge hosted by Adobe Project 1324 and Born This Way Foundation. She was the founder of the ARTIVISM Festival, a festival of creative resistance at UBC, as well as the artistic director for International Womxn's Day at UBC and UBC LGBTQ2SIA+ Pride Festival. Her project “Google Images,” an interactive website that highlights the oppressive algorithms of Google Images, received national recognition.
