Join Arts Milton at Milton Community Sports Park (Event Area A) from 12-4 pm to watch an upcycled pallet bench be transformed by local artist Allycia Uccello. Allycia will add her own personal flair using paints provided by Southside Paint & Wallpaper (Pallets also provided by Southside and construction hardware provided by Milton Home Hardware). Come back to the same location on October 2 and October 9 to sit on the benches yourself and enjoy a series of local arts performances!

Arts Milton reminds Miltonians to socially distance when out and about, and to wear masks when a distance of 6 feet cannot be maintained.

Allycia Uccello is a contemporary abstract painter and sculptor, born 1953 in Montreal Quebec, who grew up in Toronto, and has lived in London, England and New York. She currently lives in Campbellville Ontario.

Allycia received a fine arts degree from Central Tech Arts Program in Toronto, has studied hot glass in Oakville, Toronto, and Italy.

Uccello became a professional artist at age 14, when she was commissioned by the Toronto Dominion Bank to create two paintings for a branch in Toronto. She grew up in a family where both parents were professional artists supporting the family through the sale of their work nationally and internationally.

Allycia has had numerous one-woman and group shows in Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, New York, and Florida.

She has created a number of installations for businesses and private residences. Her work is in private collections in South America, Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec, London, England (British Royal Family) Florida, and Australia.
