À propos

At the Gallery, we see every day how the arts enrich lives across all ages. Research shows that engaging in the arts can help manage stress, boost mindfulness, and foster emotional well-being. Our Creative Aging initiative is designed to engage seniors in meaningful, arts-based activities that promote social inclusion, community connection, and personal expression.

Creative Aging welcomes seniors from diverse backgrounds and offers accessible workshops and events tailored to their interests and needs. It is a chance to experience the positive impact of arts and culture in a supportive, inspiring environment.

Interested in joining a free workshop?

Visit our website at theag.ca/creative-aging/ and complete the online form. Once you are in our system, you will be entered in our selection process. A few weeks before each workshop, selected participants will be notified and offered a seat. If you are unable to attend that session, you will remain on our registration list for future opportunities.

Creative Aging is generously supported by: Thunder Bay Community Foundation’s Hanna & Victor Stevenson Fund.
