À propos
The Victory Garden at The Brown Homestead is a heritage based community garden that encourages sustainable gardening, education, and outdoor recreation through the planting and maintenance of a replica Victory Garden with our harvest to be donated to a local food bank.
Through free weekly meetings and bi-weekly workshops and guest speaker appearances on alternating weeks, the Victory Garden is an inclusive, sustainable, and fun weekend activity for the Niagara community! All ages are invited to participate.

The Brown Homestead
The Brown Homestead was founded in 2015 to preserve and maintain significant heritage buildings and sites. Home to the oldest house in St. Catharines, we are re-imagining what historic sites can be.
We believe that these sites reach their full potential when they are vibrant community spaces that nurture a growing passion for learning. The Brown Homestead is a model of how historic sites can become creative educational leaders and community catalysts, helping to redefine educational paradigms for a changing world.
We are working to ensure that historic site management becomes an integral part of community planning and development.
