À propos
See the city through new eyes as you explore Richmond’s hidden past. The Richmond Museum’s new historic walking tours will take you back in time to meet early farmers and artists, feel the pulse of roaring crowds at Minoru’s horse racetrack, smell the fishy action of clanging canneries, and hear the humming busyness of our rich, diverse wetlands. It’s all there, once you know what to look for!
These family friendly, self-guided historical tours are one to two hours in length. Complete a tour and enter a contest for prizes! Capture your tour moments online and tag #RichmondMuseum.

Richmond Museum
The Richmond Museum aims to inspire curiosity about our community’s history while exploring our place in the world. We invite visitors, students and educators to come on a journey of discovery with us.
As museum storytellers, collectors and educators, our goal is to create moments of wonder and understanding. Our exhibitions tell the many stories of Richmond; our collections show how we live, past and present; our education programs open minds, young and old; and our work translates into action for a healthy community and planet.
The Richmond Museum collects, documents, researches, preserves, exhibits and interprets objects of historical and cultural significance to the development and history of Richmond.
