Beverley and Paul Williams

Beverley and Paul Williams are professional artists who have lived in Bethany since January 1977. Their studio/gallery is in an Early Ontario General store rebuilt in 1912 after the Great Fire of Bethany in November 1911. They met while working as 'PIONEERS' at Black Creek Pioneer Village near Toronto. Beverley was into fibre arts/weaving and macrame, and Paul was learning about harness making and liked experimenting with the leather. Over the years they have created many large art pieces for public and private places. Together they have travelled to Guyana and Peru as CESO volunteers to share their knowledge about leather working and textile crafts to eager artisans in South America to help them develope new products to sell. Bev and Paul love experimenting with their materials and always enjoy talking with visitors about their arts.
