Creative Outlets is a new group exhibition coming this fall! Despite the unpredictable conditions that COVID-19 has brought to our daily lives, the artists of Halton Hills have continued to find creative forms of expression; whether that’s through sewing masks and gowns, gardening, journaling, painting, sculpting or crafting. This show celebrates the efforts of our local arts community and will inspire you to go home and create something of your very own.

What creative outlets have you had throughout 2020 so far? Share pictures of something you've created at home and tag #hhIsCulture and #hhCultureDays on social media.

Gallery hours are currently Wednesday to Sunday from 1pm – 5pm. Please note that the gallery is staffed by volunteers and hours are subject to their availability.

To ensure visitor safety, a maximum of 16 people will be allowed inside the gallery at any time. We request that visitors wear a mask and respect physical distancing of 2 meters while in the Helson Gallery.

The Town of Halton Hills is taking a careful and phased approach to reopening facilities and services. While we establish a new normal, an added layer of health and safety measures is required to ensure the safety of residents, employees and visitors. In an effort to provide ongoing protection, a new COVID-19 screening protocol is in effect and mandatory for the public and staff when entering Town facilities, including the Halton Hills Cultural Centre and the Helson Gallery.

The Helson Gallery is the Town of Halton Hills' premier public art gallery and home to the culturally significant Helson Collection of Canadian and European paintings. The Gallery hosts exhibitions of its collection along with the work of community artists and private collection loans. A variety of public programming for all ages is offered throughout the year.
