Teacher Bio:

Bayani Jose Trinidad aka Bboy Fuse currently resides in Treaty 6 Territory in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and his ancestry originates from the Philippines. Dance has always been an integral part of Bayani’s life since the early age of 7 and he has started out with his traditional and cultural dancing with the Filipino Pavillion in Folk Fest. As he got older, he discovered of breakin’ also known as break dancing from older kids, from a crew known as Eternal Bboys from his Elementary School. From there he met other young dancers in at ED Feehan High School and University of Saskatchewan.

As he learned from others, he later started performing, teaching, and competing in various events/competitions around Canada. He is currently one of the members of Alpha Kids which was established in 2012 to perform, compete, and help grow the breakin’ community here in Saskatchewan. For Bayani, dance is a way of healing, expression, and connecting with others.

Outside of dance, Bayani is a Registered Social Worker and is the Practicum Placement Coordinator at the Faculty of Social Work - University of Regina (Campus). He is also a Private Practice Mental Health Counsellor with the Counselling Corner.
