À propos
Every year, A Greener Future picks up between 70,000 and 100,000 pieces of litter from the shores of Lake Ontario. This year, we’ve recruited 11 talented artists from around the Greater Toronto Area to turn trash into treasure by creating pieces of art from the litter we collect through our Love Your Lake 2021 program.
The result is The Lake Ontario Litter Art Program! A virtual and (hopefully) in-person gallery event where we will display the pieces created by our artists. In this video, you can hear about their inspiration for these pieces, and check out their progress.
Thank you for watching!

Organisateur
A Greener Future
A Greener Future works hand-in-hand with local communities to promote environmental preservation through organized litter cleanups, educational programs, and events. Our expanding family of volunteers are committed to creating a clean, healthy environment that can be sustained for generations. Since 2014, A Greener Future has picked up more than 2.9 million pieces of litter. Our programs raise awareness about plastic pollution in Lake Ontario, and help communities become good stewards of the environment.
