À propos

Free My Muse will guide the process of creating Spoken Word Poetry at the newly opening M Coffee House . This experience is for ages 13-Adults. The first part of the session will be a hybrid workshop, explaining Spoken Word Poetry and then tools to create it. The exploration will be journeyed through in ways that encourage structured, scientific and left-brained thinking with free flowing, method right-brained thinking - meaning, this workshop will be for everyone and anyone of all experience levels. Participants will combine the two processed creations into one form with room to add their own writing. A Spoken Word Poem will be created by each participant.

The second part of the session will be the presenting of our Spoken Word Poems to the group. For those who aren't inspired to share, a Reader will be offered to present for them.

As "writing" and "creating" can be personal, we will create a safe environment where participants can share, laugh, be honest and trust their own process.

Coffee and a Dessert shall be part of this experience!
