Community Yoga Day – October 12th
Locations: Little Fernwood & Little Gladstone
Free Event – All Are Welcome!
Join us for a heartwarming Community Yoga Day on Saturday, October 12th! This free event is open to all bodies, levels, and ages, and is designed to bring our neighbourhood together in movement, mindfulness, and connection.
We’ll begin with a cozy tea time, followed by a one-hour yoga class suitable for everyone—from curious beginners to seasoned yogis. At the same time, Kids Yoga will be offered for younger participants who want to join in their own fun, age-appropriate adventure.
After class, stay for light refreshments, snacks, and time to mingle. Whether you're coming solo, with friends, or as a family, this is a beautiful opportunity to breathe, stretch, and connect with others in your community.
Come as you are—no experience necessary, just bring a mat if you have one, and an open heart.
We would like to thank an honour Neighbourhood Small Grants and Country Grocer for their contributions to this event!

Roxie Fehr
Roxie of Across the Water Wellness is a yoga and movement facilitator, doula, and community wellness advocate based in Victoria, BC. She is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive spaces where people of all ages and stages of life can connect through movement, breath, and shared experience.
Throughout the year, she offers a variety of yoga and movement classes—including prenatal, postnatal, family, and yin yoga—with a strong focus on accessibility, community care, and whole-person wellness. Whether it's through playful family yoga, restorative offerings, or welcoming new parents into baby-and-me classes, her goal is always to foster connection—within ourselves and with one another.
This event reflects her ongoing commitment to making wellness practices more available and more communal. It’s a chance to come together, slow down, and enjoy the kind of shared presence and support that’s often missing in our busy lives.
