À propos
Maryna Salagub’s traffic signal cabinet box wrap features an abstract watercolor design of colorful oars, celebrating Oakville’s diverse community and natural beauty. As a local artist deeply involved in Oakville’s cultural life, Maryna’s design aims to inspire healthy living and environmental protection. The vibrant colors—navy, turquoise, red, and yellow—invite viewers to pause and immerse themselves in the intersection of urban and natural landscapes. Through her artwork, Maryna seeks to create a moment of joy and inspiration for everyone, enhancing community spaces and fostering a sense of belonging.
Building on the success of previous years, the Town of Oakville has once again invited a fresh cohort of talented artists to bring colour and creativity to the streets by showcasing their artwork on traffic signal cabinet boxes. This year, seven boxes across Oakville will feature striking designs, each offering a unique artistic interpretation of the community’s essence. Through this initiative, Oakville continues to foster public art that reflects its vibrant culture and encourages local pride.
