À propos
VCAC is pleased to present “Encouraging Ability in the Arts”, an annual exhibit featuring works from the Joining Hands Program. This year, the exhibit also celebrates 20 years of the Joining Hands Program.
For the past two decades, Joining Hands has provided adults with diverse abilities an encouraging space to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop artistic skills. What began as a small initiative has grown into a vibrant program of more than 50 participants and 20+ support workers, representing over 10 community affiliates. To date, more than 300 artists with diverse abilities have taken part—sharing their talents, strengthening community connections, and celebrating inclusion through art. Join us in celebrating ability and diversity in the arts!
Exhibit Dates: September 12 to 30
Monday to Thursday 9:00 am- 9:00 pm | Friday-Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm | Sunday 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
