Join us to celebrate the opening of "petal, clay, berry, leaf: natural inks, dyes, and pigments of Northern Ontario." This group exhibition presents new expressions and experiments with natural inks, dyes, and pigments in Northern Ontario by four women artists at different stages of their careers. Works of painting, textile, installation, video, and photography cultivate new experiences of colour, landscape, gentleness, and community.

7:30-8:30 Hear directly from the artists as they share their practice and creative process during Forage and Gather micro talks.

8:30-9:00 Enjoy some light refreshments courtesy of the gallery.

… hosts artist talks, lectures, demonstrations, and dialog sessions including hybrid livestreamed events.

… reaches over 4,000 school age children through in person curriculum linked tours and hands-on learning opportunities.

… engages over 1,000 students in the region and beyond through a virtual school tour program.
