The Toronto International Festival of Authors, running September 19–29, celebrates stories from Toronto and around the world. Discover new stories, meet your favourite authors, imagine new worlds and delve into exciting ideas. There are many free workshops and events on offer throughout the Festival, including:
September 21 at 4pm: Rally the Tropes: Romance Showdown – with authors Lily Chu, Markus Harwood-Jones, Jackie Lau and Lynn Painter
September 22 at 1pm: Rally the Tropes: Horror – with authors Clarissa Trinidad Gonzalez and A.G.A Wilmot
September 29 at 1pm: Cookbook Writing 101 – with authors Puneeta Chhitwal-Varma and Devan Rajkumar
Writing workshops with Writers Collective of Canada Writing on September 21, 22, 28 & 29
