À propos
“Cyrus Enters Babylon”, is inspired by those that fight for humanity. At a time when our rights are being trampled in many ways, in multiple locations, there is a need to be uplifted.
In the past there have been artists and leaders fighting against war and abuse to free the human spirit. In 1937, Pablo Picasso painted “Guernica”, arguably most powerful anti-war artwork ever created. “Cyrus Enters Babylon” responds to Picasso’s “Guernica” juxtaposing that historic conflict with contemporary human rights abuses and triumphs.
