In celebration of Ontario Culture Days, Troy Harmer and The Persuaders performs live at the Saltfleet Branch. With unstoppable momentum, the Persuaders are a guitar-driven trio fueled by the creative efforts of singer, songwriter and guitarist Troy Harmer. A gifted guitarist and a powerful vocalist, Troy is an intense musician who pours his heart and soul into every captivating performance. Since 1995, Troy has released 3 independent recordings and plans to release a brand new collection of 10 songs called Born To Sing The Blues. Formerly working under the names “The Troy Harmer Band” and “Troy Harmer & Infinity” Troy and his band have opened for such notable artists as Kim Mitchell, Rare Earth, The Pursuit Of Happiness and Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo. Over the past 20 years, Troy has performed at dozens of festivals and clubs throughout southern Ontario and has established a reputation for delivering the goods every time which has garnered him a legion of new fans everywhere he goes whom he affectionately refers to as "the Persuaded".

For his latest musical endeavour, Troy draws on his years of experience and the help of two of the best musicians he could find to forge his most solid line-up ever. The Persuaders are:​ Troy Harmer on Guitar and Vocals; Cam Scott on Drums and Vocals; and Paul Butcher on Bass and Vocals. This concert is co-funded by the Hamilton Musicians' Guild at hamiltonmusicians.org and the Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF).
