This workshop will introduce participants to the rich tradition of Ukrainian dance, an art form as athletic and acrobatic as it is elegant. No previous experience is required—only enthusiasm! Our qualified and experienced instructors, from Dolyna, Kelowna's Ukrainian Cultural Society, will get you moving to contemporary versions of the folk music of our ancestors. Come on out. You won't be disappointed!

Dolyna is Kelowna's Ukrainian Cultural Society. We are committed to promoting Ukrainian culture in the Okanagan, through our dance and culture classes, which we run from September to May. Every November, we host a "Zabava" (a big family-oriented party for young and old). Our celebration of the Ukrainian New Year ("Malanka") takes place each January (at the Parkinson Rec Centre). Dolyna's annual spring concert happens in May, at the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
