Dance Innovations Inc. is offering a FREE Hip Hop class for students in Grades 3-4 on October 4 from 10:30 - 11:15am. We will have one teacher visit your school, taking every opportunity to include your school’s past alumni as the instructor. This will allow the full city of Yorkton to be involved in a City Wide dance party, hearing about and exploring dance in the convenience of their school. This is a great opportunity for Arts Education teachers to begin to consider some of the outcomes in the Arts Education curriculum such as CP 3.1, 4.1, CH 3.1, 4.1. CR 3.1, 4.1

Dance Innovations has been an Arts Education hub in the Yorkton Community for 27 years. Our mission has always been to provide a diverse environment for all children to develop creativity, confidence and teamwork skills through the performing arts. Part of that mission includes connecting with those in our community who may not have access to dance. By taking dance into the schools, we have the opportunity to introduce children to dance as an art form and provide a springboard for their teachers to continue during their arts education component.
