Learn the basics of modern calligraphy in a two hour class! Supplies are included and the event will take place in the newly created Post Script room of the Old Post in downtown Harriston. Use brush pens to learn more about calligraphy without the stress of dip pens, nibs or ink. Learn the basic drills of letterforms and how to keep consistency as you turn letterforms into words and words into phrases. Explore how to design a layout, and position words to create a beautiful work of art. Participants will leave with worksheets, a brush pen and a new skill to continue practicing!

Organisateur
Amanda Foell
Amanda is an experienced teacher of modern calligraphy and brush lettering. She has taught at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery and other area venues. She started lettering in 2015 when the hand lettering craze was taking off. She began with a set of Tombow Dual Brush Pens along with a sketchbook, and there has been no turning back!
