À propos

Carstairs is celebrating Alberta Culture Days this year with three days packed full of awesome experiences! On day two (Saturday, Sept. 28th) the Museum will be hosting First Nations and Metis Elders who will share tipi teachings throughout the day.

Starting at 11:00 we invite you to join us at the Museum to welcome the Elders in an opening ceremony and learn about tipis as we build the children's tipi together outside the Museum. From 12:00pm to 4:00pm the Elders will be offering tipi teachings as well as a sharing circle for kids, there will be fun crafts, and (weather dependent) a chance to enjoy fresh bannock around the fire!

On Sunday, Sept. 29th the Museum will host The Travelling Mabels as part of our regular Music at the Museum Concert Series. Please see our website for more details.
