À propos
Visit the Uxbridge Historical Centre on September 24th or October 22nd for free access to the current exhibition, "Quilts on Quaker Hill", spread across three of the UHC's historic buildings. "Quilts on Quaker Hill" features a collection of 24 quilts from both the UHC collection and the community. They showcase a variety of different quilting methods and tell the stories of those involved in the craft. Ranging from the early 1800s to 2021, the unique quilts in this exhibition help to tell the story of local quilters, their roles as community members, and their enduring commitment to the quilting craft.

Uxbridge Historical Centre
Established in 1972, the Uxbridge Historical Centre (UHC) preserves the history and heritage of the Township of Uxbridge. Located on a 5-acre site that overlooks the beautiful Uxbridge Valley and Oak Ridges Moraine, the UHC consists of 10 buildings and more than 10,000 artifacts and 6,000 archives.
The UHC connects today's audiences with the rich heritage of Uxbridge Township through the collection, preservation, interpretation and display of artifacts, documents and photographs, and related programming that illustrate the history of the Uxbridge area and the former Townships of Uxbridge and Scott.
The UHC is a heritage leader and important community resource, providing engaging exhibitions, workshops and other programs that explore and share the history of the Uxbridge area with diverse audiences.
