Enjoy magical photos drawn by artist Sangmin Yoon with a camera!
Sangmin's photos are like Vincent van Gogh's paintings. "Vincent van Gogh made me start the arduous task of expressing photography like a painting" says Dr. Yoon, a former ENT physician. The professional photographer's work, which abstracts the light around the subject and creates fullness of power and vitality, resembles Van Gogh's a lot. At the same time, it is distinguished from Van Gogh's paintings in that it is abstracted with delicate pieces of light that are repeatedly expressed, a characteristic of photography. Yoon is also a former president of Korea-China Art Association.
Laird Art Gallery proudly presents the photo artworks by Sangmin Yoon with the title of 'From the Light.' It is the third exhibition hosted by the gallery.
