Join Sima Naseem, the 2026-2027 Youth Mural Artist for a fun and animated craft this Culture Days!

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create paper puppets inspired by characters for the new sportsplex mural, adding personal details to bring them to life. Drawing on her background as an animator, Sima will also demonstrate simple puppet animation, helping participants explore movement and storytelling as inspiration for the youth mural project.

This fall, the Youth Mural Project returns to Sixteen-Mile Sports Complex, offering youth a unique opportunity to make their mark through public art.
