À propos
Kakabeka Farmers' Market is a weekly Saturday morning farmers' market that runs during the local farming season, from mid-June through Thanksgiving weekend.
As a true Farmers' Market (as defined by Ontario regulations), over 50% of the Market's vendors sell local foods produced on their own farms. This means you will find local meats, sausages, honey, maple syrup, mushrooms, preserves, fresh fruit & vegetables, and more! Kakabeka Farmers' market is a culinary hub for locavores!
Many of the Market's non-food vendors sell hand-made crafts including goat-milk soaps, painted rocks, walking sticks and woodcrafts.
Come for breakfast! A bacon & egg "Market Breakfast Special" is available from the on-site Legion Canteen from 9am to noon for only $6!
Kakabeka Farmers' Market is proud to be a part of the 2019 Thunder Bay Culture Days hub, entitled "Culinary Creativity and Wellbeing." We hope to see you on the morning of Saturday, September 28.
