The Altar for the Day of the Dead is an ancient tradition in some Latin American countries. This year we will have representative facilities from Mexico. We open the doors from October 6 to November 2, which is the celebration of the Day of the Dead. We invite the community to bring photos of their loved ones to our altars as we remember and honuor them in the heart of Granville Island. It is worth mentioning that the tradition of the Day of the Dead is an Intangible Heritage of Humanity proclaimed by Unesco.
