A pop-up studio with daily workshops, focusing on sustainable practices using local and found materials: eco printing, natural dyes, printing and staining with found objects, and using the resulting marks on paper and cloth in projects such as quilts, garments, and hand-bound books. This pop-up runs from September 17th-24th, at Artspeak Gallery.
paper and cloth : a pop-up studio exists as an evolving and seasonal relationship with both the flora and the other found materials of our immediate surroundings.
Backed by our rich knowledge and experience with printing, dyeing, staining and stitching, we are celebrating our practice of mark-making and invite you to join us in a week-long exploration of the process.
Paper and Cloth Studio is a collaboration between asil and Levigator Press.
