Built in 1875 by James Cushie Bent, this church was purchased in 1968 by the Roman Catholic Church to serve the local francophone congregation as the Église Saint-Philippe.
ACTIVITY: Guided tours
Doors Open Burlington takes place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit heritage sites, noteworthy buildings, and interesting locations - free of charge. Many of these buildings and locations will offer special activities during the day. For Burlington, Doors Open provides a unique opportunity to view the city from a new perspective and celebrate the cultural importance of the sites to the community. Other sites include: Archaeological Services Inc. (ASI), Burlington Camera and Digital, Burlington Public Library - Central Branch, Burlington Radio Control Modelers, Freeman Station, Halton Mosque, Joseph Brant Museum, Nickel Brook Brewing Co., NUVO Network, Royal Botanical Gardens, Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant, and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
