À propos
Celebrate Indigenous heritage and culture, while creating a visual reminder to recognize and honour the past.
The Moccasin Identifier advances Treaty and Indigenous awareness by helping you develop a greater understanding of Treaties and Indigenous relationships to the land. Using a Moccasin Identifier Education Kit, participants will use stencils based on drawings of historical moccasins of the Anishanaabe, Huron-Wendat, Seneca and Cree to create paintings of the moccasin designs, grounding their learning through an art-based activity.
This drop-in program is for all ages. Please come prepared to paint.

Halton Hills Public Library
For over a century the Halton Hills Public Library has provided space for people to create and collaborate. With branches in both Georgetown and Acton, it has become a main provider and presenter of arts and culture events in the community. For Culture Days this year, the Library will host a wide variety of activities for all age groups in various artistic disciplines. Please join us online or in branch to learn more about Culture Days at the Library, including the programs, venues, dates and times; as well as the arts and culture opportunities available in Halton Hills year-round. Plus, you can follow and engage with us on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube for the latest updates.
