Contemporary Art Exhibit

On view in the Dennis Tourbin Members Gallery

Artist: Emily Andrews

This exhibit will feature a new series of oil paintings that explore bizarre and unexplained scenarios in a mid-century setting.

Emily Andrews is a multi-media artist, actress, and musician from Niagara Falls, Ontario. She works in a variety of media, including oil painting, collage, installation art, and sculpture. A true surrealist at heart, her work is often inspired by science, nature, history, and her own strange dreams. Her most recent series, Far From Ordinary: A Series of Dreamscapes Made With Very Precise Slices, features surrealistic, hand-cut photo collages depicting scenes of pure absurdity and beautiful madness between animals and humans.
